What makes a good pitch

Propose one focused subject, explain the reader question it answers and outline the useful idea or point of view. Strong pitches are specific enough to picture, broad enough to matter beyond one short-lived event, and grounded in details a reader can apply without specialist or local-rule checking.

Contributions we consider

We consider reported explainers, comparisons, histories, myth-checks and occasion-based planning pieces. A proposal should be your own work, accurately sourced where it makes factual claims, and clearly distinct from material already covered on the site.
